<p>Happy Holidays. I hope you have meaningful time to spend with the ones you love, 2- and 4-leggeds! My daughter is flying to see me. I’m so happy, but I would have been even happier if Mufasa, her big and lovable rescue companion, could come with her.</p>
<p>I’ve been greatly influenced since I began this Through a Dog’s Ear/Cat’s Ear/iCalmPet journey, by Patricia McConnell, the esteemed animal behaviorist. She wrote a book in 2003, the same year we began, with the inspiring title, The Other End of the Leash. The concept of the symbiotic relationship has guided me throughout our 34 audio releases: Who, what, and how we live our lives transfers down the leash to our beloved animal companions.</p>
<p>This puts a bit of responsibility on us. We are our pet’s guardians, as they are ours, in a different way. A few things we can do is to bring calm into the household, and try to insure that we live in a safe and healthy environment.</p>
<p>To this end, iCalmPet has been transitioning into a carbon-neutral company. In 2023, we continue featuring digital transfers through downloading and streaming. Not only are these media channels good for the planet, but they are good for your pocketbook in these expensive times. Downloads and streaming are the heart of our Affordable Options” program to make iCalmPet music as inexpensive (or even free) as we can.</p>
<p>Science shows the universal power of music, and if iCalmPet can bring even a modicum of calm into your pet household, we are standing with the other end of the leash – taking care of ourselves and our beloveds.</p>
